We refurbished all of our Wooden containers in Maghull Square, the Meadows Leisure centre and also the lone container by the Silver Star Restaurant and of course replanted all the containers with not only their Summer displays but in October with their Winter displays.  This includes the containers on the Leeds Liverpool Canal and Tree View Court

In November in Maghull Square, Poppies were placed in our containers for Remembrance Day , these were made by some of our volunteers.

After the unfortunate cancellation of the Maghullfest we set up a stall in Maghull Square selling plants and raffle prizes on two separate occasions.

It was also a sad year when we lost some of our friends, Betty Fletcher and Matthew Lock, they will be sadly missed.

After their tireless efforts throughout the year come rain or shine we held three events to thank our volunteers for all their hard work, one in the Summer, a cream tea (generously provided free of charge by Scrummies)  in the garden of one of our supporters and two more in the later part of  the year.  One was a wreath making afternoon and the other our now Annual Christmas Lunch at The Great Mogul.

Wishing everyone a Happy and Healthy New Year and here’s looking forward to 2024
