Coronavirus update:  1st March

Sefton is still in lockdown but the government has issued a 'road map' outlining the relaxation of restrictions.  The dates given below are all 'not before'; circumstances may mean that they will be pushed back further.

from 8th March outdoor recreation allowed with one person from another household.

This would allow one or two volunteers to work together on MiB activities

from 29th March  ‘Stay at home’ law lifted; outdoor socialising allowed for six people or two households.

This would allow volunteers to work in groups of six while following social distancing guidelines

from 17th May  ‘Rule of six’ lifted for outdoor socialising

This would allow volunteers to work in unlimited groups outside

from 21st June  all limits on social contact removed, indoors and outdoors.

This would allow indoor open and committee meetings and social events to take place

Initially, and until further notice, volunteers should:

  • maintain 2m social distance

  • use face covering

  • use own tools, no sharing

A programme of activities will appear on this page and will be updated as the Covid19 situation develops.

We are planning a series of zoom meetings for all volunteers

Dates of zoom open meetings are

    Thursday March 4th, 3.15 pm

    Thursday May 6th,  3.15 pm

All volunteers will be sent a link before the meeting starts.

Please join us if you can.
