Maghull in Bloom volunteers come from a variety of backgrounds and with many different interests and skills. Here are a few of them and the comments they make about their experiences with us.
'I was looking for a post-retirement voluntary activity and found MiB was perfect as I love gardening and the outdoors. It has given me a great sense of satisfaction and I have made new friends.' Suzanne
'I appreciated the efforts of volunteers to improve the appearance of my local area. I enjoy contributing to the scheme. I have made new friends and learnt more about plants and flowers.' Margaret
'I am very interested in gardening in general and particularly in helping with the fruit meadow. There is no pressure to do more than you are able. You do what you can when you are able. Also you make new friends and get a feeling of satisfaction.' Pat
'I know very little about gardening and plants, but I find that there are many other ways in which I can contribute to the work of the group. Along the way I have enjoyed the company of new friends and have developed new skills and interests.' John
